If you’re looking for the best Turkish food in town, come here. Everything about this place is amazing. The food, the atmosphere and the service. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. We even had free tea and dessert. I’ve been coming to Capital for years and it never disappoints. Highly recommend.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Exceptional service thanks to Melek! Visited Capital Turkish Restaurant today and had a wonderful experience thanks to our server, Melek. Her warm hospitality made us feel so comfortable. She recommended the lentil soup—absolutely delicious! We ate heartily and left smiling. Highly recommend asking for Melek!

I’ve had Lamb ribs from loads of Turkish places, but Capital is on another level. It’s my go‑to now. The ribs are chunky, super meaty, and always charred just right. Definitely recommend giving them a try.

We recently held a large celebration at Capital Restaurant in Wood Green on the 22nd Novebember 2025 , with around 80-100 guests, and we booked the entire top floor. From start to finish, the experience was exceptional. The food and drinks were excellent — fresh, flavourful, and served quickly despite the size of our group. The waiters were incredibly attentive, accommodating and very kind, always checking on us and making sure everyone was comfortable and happy. What stood out even more was their flexibility. With so many guests, payment could have been complicated, but the staff handled everything calmly and professionally, offering different payment options to make the process smooth for everyone. They also allowed us to play music and dance, which created a wonderful atmosphere and made the evening truly special. The team didn’t just serve us — they supported us throughout the entire event with a smile. A huge thank you to all the staff at Capital Restaurant. You helped make our celebration beautiful and memorable. We highly recommend this restaurant for gatherings, celebrations, or simply a delicious meal.

In London for the day, went in to get some lunch as it was raining, absolutely made the right choice. The food was tasty, portion sizes were excellent and they gave us a complimentary desert before we left. I cannot recommend this place enough, fantastic.

I had breakfast today at Capital Restaurant with my friend, and what truly stood out was the excellent service from our server. The young Albanian girl who took care of our table was incredibly warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly. She greeted us with a smile from the moment we walked in, checked on us often without being intrusive, and made sure everything we ordered arrived exactly as we wanted. Her positive attitude brought a great energy to the whole place. Her kindness and professionalism even reminded me of the great hospitality I experienced during my trip to Turkey back in 2014 that same welcoming vibe that makes you feel instantly comfortable. Thanks to her, our breakfast felt even more enjoyable. Great service makes all the difference.
